Join a team of clinicians in a community setting working to strengthen individuals and families through the use of evidence based practices.
Engage with other stakeholders in the effort to build on client strengths and natural support networks.
Specialized skills with specific client populations [e.g. youth, elders, trauma survivors, and children] are especially attractive.
Manage all aspects of your client's care- intake, assessment, service planning, case management, and aftercare arrangements.
Take advantage of opportunities for professional growth through available supervision and training.
Master Degree with independent clinical license required. Licensed Independent Social Work (LICSW) preferred. LMHC, LMFT considered; LCDP professionals are encouraged to inquire about opportunities.
Competence in the use of current evidenced based practices in Behavioral Health such as substance abuse/dependence, trauma informed care, co-occuring disorders.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an active community based clinic.
Experience in therapeutic and educational group development and facilitation.
Knowledge of the structure and content of the English language including the meaning and spelling of words, rules of composition, and grammar.
